We are a father and son team creating custom hardwood furniture and epoxy resin pieces. The hardwoods are hand picked from local businesses so every item we build is 100% Minnesotan and custom created for you! We are a custom woodshop located in the suburbs of Minneapolis, with a focus on customer service and providing unique wood furniture to every client. We specialize in epoxy resin pieces, for those looking for a pop of color, and creating a one of a kind piece by hand picking and mixing colors to match each clients needs. We work with customers across the Twin Cities: Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Edina, Plymouth, St. Louis Park, and all cities surrounding the Minneapolis and St Paul areas of Minnesota!

WONDERFUL!!! Overhauled my custom cut butcher block that still had life, just needed talented hands to revive it! Dave/family/shop embody concepts of 'custom' work, TRUE 'craftsman' & downright nice people that make doing business a pleasure! Focus wasn't on biggest profit, very fair pricing. Very enthusiastic about his craft & jumped into the rehab while I was still there - which was a treat to see! All rarities anymore.. Dave was terrific to work with. He actually took time to discuss ideas with me before even being hired.. (vs 5 other calls where I was told my job couldn't be done/annoyance at it not being big enough/etc). I'm extremely pleased with the outcome (no pictures yet/house still in progress). I had the enjoyment of seeing the shop, which was impressively equipped & had some impressive pieces in progress (many ideas now in my mind)! Decorative epoxy pieces were also of very superior quality! I did my due diligence of checking around with several places - I couldn't be happier with my choice! We recently received our finished game table from Iron Roots Woodworks. We have never been as impressed with a vendor as we were with Iron Roots. Both Dave and Mike were fantastic to work with. They wanted to make sure the end product was exactly like our dream-design, and through their constant communication and dedication, they did exactly that. They kept us involved on every single step of the process through email and photos and invited us to come see their progress whenever we liked. When we didn't know exactly how we wanted something laid out, they would do research for us and offer various ideas for us to decide from. They made sure that every single design decision came from us. The fact that one could see how enthused about their craft Dave and Mike are made us all the more excited to work with them. They delved into understanding all the games we played and how various aspects of the game would work (or not work) with certain design ideas for the game table we wanted. What was extra impressive to us is that they built our dream table in a little over a month and were so excited about the finished product, they delivered and set it up in our home as well (even though we live over an hour away from their shop!). We can't express any more how Dave and Mike are the people to go to for all your woodworking needs. They are fun to work with, communicative, and wells of information.
